Biography Mohsin e Millat Allama Syed Safdar Hussain Najafi

Syed Safdar Hussain Najafi was a scholar and leader of Islam who lived from 1932 to 1989. He was born in Alipur, Pakistan, and received his religious education in Pakistan and Najaf Ashraf, Iran. He was the principal of Jamea tul Muntazar and helped to establish over 425 madaris in Pakistan. Najafi also founded several religious organizations and publications, and translated numerous books into Urdu. He was a supporter of Imam Khomaini and the Islamic Revolution of Iran. Najafi was also an advocate for the development of Islamic knowledge in women and worked to establish educational institutions for them. He was married twice and had six sons and four daughters, all of whom are religious scholars serving their community.
